Schools Science Conference at University of Westminster

This year was the 15th annual Schools Science Conference at the University of Westminster, and Mrs Holgate took a group of Yr 9 Science students along to present their work on the Thames Tideway Tunnel, and to take part in a whole day of different activities looking at career pathways in healthcare sciences. We were able to talk to pathologists, radiographers, biochemists and phlebotomists from organisations such at Great Ormond Street Hospital, The Royal Marsden and St George’s Hospital. We also attended a keynote lecture from a doctor now working for Google DeepMind researching artificial intelligence and its application for positive impact.
