Cadbury World Trip – GCSE Business and Economics Students

The Business and Economics Department took students from Year 9 and Year 10 studying Business and Economics to Cadbury World. Birmingham on Monday 25th April 2022. Upon arrival the students were ushered into a marketing workshop that offered a unique insight into how Cadbury utilises marketing planning tools. The Year 9 and Year 10 Business students have covered the ‘Marketing Mix’ element on their specification. Therefore, the students were able to apply this knowledge and were able to identify the target market of Cadbury, the research methods used by Cadbury and also gained an understanding of how Cadbury use advertising campaigns to remain and achieve competitive advantage.  After this session the students were given an opportunity to enjoy the Cadbury…

After this session the students were given an opportunity to enjoy the Cadbury World main attraction and journey through the chocolatey zones. Where they learnt about the history of Cadbury World and Bournvile, Cadbury’s manufacturing processes, explored the Aztec Jungle, made their own chocolates, had a go at making art with chocolate and of course were given plenty of chocolate to enjoy along the way.
