The First Story cohort have been flexing their imaginative muscles since September with our resident author, Irfan Master! They’re looking forward to their initial foray into publishing  later this year. Keep your eyes peeled for the launch date and event.

Mr Ghoochani’s poetry club competed in the ‘Through Their Eyes’ poetry challenge. Six members of the club have successfully had their writing included in the competition’s anthology.

In KS4, George A in Year 10 gave a stirring performance of his speech ‘Clarity of Vision’ at the Jack Petchey Speak Out Challenge regional final in  February. He earned the runner up spot and Miss Thakrar called his speech ‘Phenomenal!’.

Looking forward, we’re very excited to make use of our new LRC space. After half term the new library lesson will be up and running for all KS3 classes.
