Payment Diversion Fraud

We have been notified by The Charity Commission that a payment fraud strategy has been brought to their attention which involves falsely making or redirecting payments. This is achieved by fraudsters making initial contact and often through the school’s own email system through a cyber-attack. We would like to remind parents and carers that we only ask for trip and meal payments to be made via ParentPay and not via direct bank transfer. Please liaise with us directly if you receive any emails asking you to amend your payment details and procedures or demands for increased fees. Inconsistencies and grammatical errors are often warning signs of a fraudulent email. For more information, please click here.
