Year 7 Space Mission

This week, Year 7 students have taken part in lessons to help them think about what it would be like to live in space, and the challenges they would have to overcome. This included modelling the difficulty of wearing space suits gloves to carry out fiddly tasks like tying shoelaces, and looking at what happens to marshmallows in a vacuum to understand why a space suit is pressurised We have also been Tweeting messages to British astronaut Tim Peake.
