Year Group Update – Year 10 – December 2019

Community Charities: At the start of half-term 2, Year 10 students (along with Year 11) were invited to vote for their flagship charity: the charity we will support going forwards. Concluding Notes:
This half-term has seen a real focus towards the future, and even beyond the academic year itself. We’ve stepped into “Work Experience” mode (Mon 29th June – Friday 3rd July) with our practice interview day at the start of December, and have run coaching time sessions to best prepare the students at sources and gaining high-quality work placements. It’s also had the experience of GCSEs exam with the RE mock, in preparation for their real exam in Summer 2020. Around the corner lies a much-needed Christmas holiday!
