Chelsea Academy offers a unique secondary education in modern, well equipped facilities.

Determined Admission Arrangements Notice 2026 –2027

In accordance with Regulation 17 of the School Admissions Regulations 2012, admission arrangements must be formally determined by the responsible admission authority.

The Governing  Body of Chelsea Academy determined the admission arrangements for 2026-2027 on 12th December 2024. No changes have been made to the 2026-2027 policy other than relevant dates.

In accordance with  Regulation 21 of the Regulations and Section 88 of the SSFA 1998,  any person or body who considers that any maintained school or Academy’s arrangements are unlawful, or not compliant with the Code or relevant law relating to admissions, can make an objection to the Schools Adjudicator.

Chelsea Academy Admission Policy Consultation for 2027-2028 Entry

We are consulting on proposed changes to our admissions policy for the 2027-2028 Academy year.  This consultation is to allow parents / carers, the local community, and other stakeholders to provide feedback on the proposed arrangements.

Please find here the proposed Admission Policy for 2027-2028 including the proposed Supplementary Information Form and relevant maps in Annex A.

Please note that the Academy propose the following changes:

  1.  F2 category amended to ‘Children who are enrolled at a Church of England primary school within 2.5 mile radius of the Academy or who regularly attend a Christian church or chapel within a 2.5 mile radius of the Academy.’
  2. F3 category amended to ‘Children who are enrolled at a Church of England primary school and who live within a 3.5 mile radius of the Academy.’

The consultation period is from Wednesday, 29 October to Tuesday, 9 December.
