Chelsea Academy Foundation (CAF)

My two boys attend Chelsea Academy and almost daily they benefit from activities and support beyond lessons that are provided by the Chelsea Academy Foundation (CAF). Funding for things such as personalised tutoring, revision guides, drama, robotics club and rowing means they are available to all pupils, something we believe is a vital part of supporting academic and personal growth.

Put simply, CAF helps the school send our young people off into the world with a better chance of success.

CAF is working hard to raise money this year by approaching major private donors in the local area, putting in bids to charitable trusts and foundations and also pursuing corporate donors with a connection to the local community. We have already raised £47,000 this year but our target is £150,000 so we have some way to go. If you are interested in supporting the work of the Foundation either by becoming a Trustee or simply with fundraising suggestions, then I’d love to hear from you at susan.harris@chelsea-academy.org.

Donations from parents are also an important part of our funding. To those of you that have already chosen to donate to the Foundation’s Flourish Fund, thank-you. You are making a real difference to the lives of our students.

If you’re not yet donating, please consider if you could contribute £10 per month. Ten more parents donating £10 per month would pay for 180 students in year 11 to attend extra revision training provided by external experts.

Setting up a donation will only take a few moments of your time at chelsea-academy.org/donate

Thanks again for your support.
