The trip today (Tuesday 17th October 2023) with 27 students from Year 11 and Year 12 to the French Institute today went really well. The students enjoyed the library activity this morning on French music: they had to fill in a form by researching the resources in the library, and then they had a presentation on different genres and artists of French music in the beautiful library of the Institute. They were all shocked that Daft Punk was French!
We all had lunch in the hall of the Institute and it was really nice.
In the afternoon, we watched the film Supremes in the Cine Lumiere and the students seemed to really enjoy the film as well, they learnt a lot about the French banlieues and French rap.
Behaviour and engagement was overall really good and they represented CA perfectly as they were other schools there, I was very proud of them !
