The air was buzzing with excitement this evening as the Chelsea Academy U13 Girls football team played their highly anticipated first game of the season!
Facing a challenging side the girls showed incredible determination and team spirit in what was their initial taste of competitive football at this age group. The match was a fantastic spectacle of energy and passion from both sides.
“We couldn’t be prouder of how the girls performed tonight,” said Ms Dewhirst. “For many, this was a step up in intensity, and they gave absolutely everything. Their commitment to each other was clear, and we saw some real glimpses of quality. The future is very bright for this team.”
The focus now shifts to the training pitch as the girls look to build on this experience. A huge well done to every single player on the U13 squad!
