Over 600 families made their way to the Academy at the end of September to be wowed by our annual Open Evening for prospective Year 7s. The Academy was a hive of excitement and activity as some 300 of the Academy’s current students showed families around, or welcomed visitors into buzzing classrooms, spectacular science labs, an energetic Sports Hall, a delicious smelling Food Tech kitchen, a noisy Design Tech room or a serenely silent Library! Mrs Ardron addressed families but was very much outshone by two Sixth Formers and two Year 7s who spoke with great confidence about their time so far at the Academy. Still a few day time tours left – do book on via our website!
