Reflection

Dear Parents and Carers, The theme of the week w/b 3rd February is ‘Stewardship'. The verse of the week is Genesis 1:28 : “God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Dear Parents and Carers,

The theme of the week w/b 3rd February is ‘Stewardship’.

The verse of the week is Genesis 1:28 :

God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

At Chelsea Academy we are passionate about looking after our planet and also one another. How could you contribute to looking after something or someone this week?

Last week I attended the London Diocesan Board for Schools annual service where a group of our students led the prayers and singing of the hymns. It was fantastic to join with other schools and to remember that we are part of the community of the Church of England.

I will be leading community prayer sessions for parents and carers as well as local residents again this year. The next meeting will be on Thursday 27th February from 5.30 – 6.30 pm. It would be brilliant to see you then if you are able to join me.

May God be with you this week and I will continue to pray for you, your children and your family as we journey together towards Lent and Easter.

With every blessing,

Tim Richards
