Tabia put some students through their mathematical paces and told us about her experiences studying Computer Science at Kings College. Miebi taught Psychology classes, inspiring students to exceed their predicted grades in the way that she did and aim for A*s! Koroush has had a real impact on both individuals and lessons; making Maths seem ‘easy’ and also sharing his extensive knowledge of Economics and Physics. He inspired us with tales about his Degree in Economics at Surrey university where he spent part of his first year on an exchange programme in Australia!
Along with tutoring from students at City University on ‘getting into Uni’, and targeted support from Imperial students for our Scientists within Chelsea Academy, our 20 Access Project members have been visiting their tutors at their places of work. These have included: Channel 4, The Economist, Rothschild, Deloitte, The Department for Culture, Media & Sport, Aimia, Imperial College London and British Airways.
With the theme of the week being Leadership, we are very proud of our sixth form students who take every opportunity to excel, often giving their free time; and of our Alumni who return to Chelsea Academy time and again to continue contributing to our community.
