The Year 7s have ended their first half term on an absolute high! As a year group they have settled in very well to life at the Academy. They have made great first impressions amongst staff and the wider community. They seem to already be familiar with our ethos and values and demonstrate these everyday. Two weeks ago Mr Richards arranged a collection for our local food bank and the Year 7s brought in bags and bags of donations, they were incredibly generous!
Attendance has been high in Year 7 and we hope to maintain that until the end of the year. Achievement points will soon be in the hundreds!
We look forward to returning to the Academy after half term when the clubs will be starting and Year 7 students can get involved in the extra curricular activities that we have to offer.
