I am immensely proud of the entire year group for returning to the Academy with the attitude they’ve shown and the level of engagement and enjoyment in lessons, it has been a fantastic first half term. Year 9 students have shown great resilience and adapted well to the enforced changes that have been necessary.
GCSEs have begun and Year 9 have all risen to the challenge. I think it’s fair to say that it has been a different level to last year and the standard and expectations required by their teachers will rise year on year, however Year 9 have shown fantastic capacity and I am so optimistic for the prospects of our young people.
