One of the sponsors of Chelsea Academy is the Church of England and their educational vision is based on a long history of successful church involvement in the educational, social and spiritual development of young people. This vision is one of service to all people of whatever faith background.
Chelsea Academy has a specialism in Science. The vision of the science specialism is for all students to develop an understanding of the importance of the global and local ecological, environmental and ethical impact of science.

The Academy currently employs around 150 staff, 80 teaching and 70 associate. All of our staff are Learning Coaches, which means that students are at the absolute heart of everyone’s day-to-day work, and student-staff relationships are developed across all areas of the Academy.
Chelsea Academy was built in 2010 and is set in the heart of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. This state of the art building holds a number of exciting facilities that are available for hire.
We are excited to announce that from the start of September 2021 Cucina will become our new school caterer. We understand for students to operate at their full potential it is essential that they eat well. Cucina provide menus that offer our students both nutritious and tasty dishes that are full of goodness.
