Their vision is one of service to people of all faiths and backgrounds. LDBS have a long and successful history of involvement in the educational, social and spiritual development of young people. In addition to Academies, the LDBS supports nearly 150 Church of England schools in London, including 13 secondary schools. The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has an excellent reputation for the high academic standard of its schools. Recognising the significant need for additional secondary places in the area, the Royal Borough is proud to be co-sponsor of Chelsea Academy. RBKC is represented by one member, who holds the post of Lead Member for Education (currently Cllr Catherine Faulks).
